        Rick Jackson (b. 1940), National Western Art Foundation Briscoe Legacy Award, 2009, bronze on wood base, 10 x 14 x 13.5"; presented to G. Harvey Provenance: Estate of G. Harvey Rick Jackson, born in 1940, is a contemporary sculptor and winner of numerous prizes in the USA. His work has been purchased by the Bayer Corporation, Denver Health Center, City of Abilene, and Clark Gardens in Mineral Wells, Texas. He grew up in Jack County, as a country boy who rode horses and worked with cattle. In 1980, Rick Jackson began working in bronze and the one-time oil field worker has parlayed his love of the west into one of the most recognized western sculptors in the country.
