David W. Jackson (Born 1951). A native of Ogden, Utah, David received a Bachelor of Science degree at Weber State University and a Master of Fine Arts degree through Utah State University. He taught art at Bonneville High School for twenty-seven years before retiring in the year 2000 to devote more time to his art. David has been recognized as featured artist for the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation. He won third place in the Artist of the Year and People's Choice competitions for the North American Sheep Foundation. He has been awarded first place in the St. George Art Festival, bronze medal for the National Audubon Show in Alaska, Best of Show in the Morgan County Fair, first place in Eccles Statewide Competition, and his work has been accepted into many juried, national shows.
