Different boats are lying at anchor on both river banks. In the background on can see individual rows of houses, which seem to vanish in the haze. The brushwork is partly very free, especially in the execution of the ships. Color highlights in the water accentuate the shadows of the ships. The beautiful frame features ornamental Baroque style decorations. The painting is in very good condition. The signature EDUARDO INDUNI in blue can be seen lower right. On the back of the canvas with manufacturers stamp. The frame shows minor cracks and losses. There are two rings on the back for hanging. The stretcher measures 70 x 100 cm (without frame).
