Herbert Dunton Media: Oil on canvas Dimensions: 20 by 16 inches Condition: Very Good Condition Details: This painting is in very good condition. With the unaided eye there are no issues. Closer inspection under ultraviolet light reveals some tiny areas of in-painting. These are two less than ¼ inch spots located along the upper edge, approximately 3 inches and 5 ½ inches from the left. There is another 1/8 inch spot along the left edge approximately 10 inches from the top. The work has been lined to a polyester fabric. There are no other signs of restoration. The piece is framed in a carved gold leaf frame which is in very good condition with minimal wear. Verso: typed label attached to original stretcher bar: The Hunters Supper. Stamped on stretcher: McAdoo Galleries Inc. Santa Fe, New Mexico.
