Walton from a Sketch by Miss Mittig de Humboldt | Printed by C. Hullmandel". At the lower part inscribed in the printing plate: "Old Castle and Village of Kronberg". Date: 19th century Description: Picturesque view of Kronberg Castle above the small village. On the road a figure in traditional costume. Keywords: Germany, Hesse, Taunus, Kronberg, castle, keep, village, nature, 19th century, Romanticism, Architecture, Germany, Size: 26,4 cm x 34,9 cm (10,4 x 13,7 in), Depiction: 17,3 cm x 24,4 cm (6,8 x 9,6 in) Condition: Good condition. Clearly light-margined. Sporadic pale foxing visible. Minimally soiled on the margin. Some small traces of pressure at the top. Along the edges remains of adhesive tape from an old mounting.
