Next to him stretches a horse its head over the farmer’s left shoulder and gazes directly at the spectator. The scene is lit by the light of a declining sun. The oil painting is in very good condition with only minor abrasions along the edges, caused by a former framing. It is signed lower left “Hübers” The overall dimensions are 60 x 50 cm.
