A GROUP OF THIRTY-FIVE PHOTOGRAPHS, NO LATER THAN 1926 each approx. 290 by 235mm or the reverse including a study of Mahsuds [illustrated], one of Waziris, and a study of Kalabagh, Silver Bromide Prints, each with the photographer's 'R.B. Holmes & Co/Copyright/Peshawar' wetstamp on the reverse, many signed, titled and numbered in the negative, Quantity: 35 NOTE These prints are from the collection of Charles William Taylor of the 10th Armoured Car Company Royal Tank Corp. Stationed in Afghanistan and India between 1919 and 1926, he sent the photographs home to his family during his service. It is possible that two of the thirty-five photographs are copy prints from the period.
