Hohneck, Adolf: Die Lösnitz bei Dresden

Blick über die Lößnitz bei Dresden im Sommer. Öl auf Leinwand, doubliert. 23 x 36 cm. Rechts unten signiert "A. Hohneck", sowie verso auf einem alten, auf der doublierten Leinwand aufgebrachten Klebeetikett bezeichnet. Die frisch erhaltene Darstellung zeigt einen typischen Blick über die wegen ihres Wein- und Obstbaus beliebte Landschaft vor den Toren Dresdens, die im 19. Jahrhundert auch zu einem beliebten Sommerwohnsitz der Städter wurde. Nach Studien in Dresden und Düsseldorf bei Hildebrand wurde Hohneck vor allem als Maler der sächsisch-böhmischen Gebirgslandschaft bekannt.
