        Oil on canvas aquatic scene shows a green moray eel wound around a piece of tall coral with a large purple coral leaf at a blue fish unaware of its presence. Signed center bottom "Hoffman". Back having original labels with title. Also an estate stamp and indication that in the 1920's he began painting scenes of underwater wildlife including a trip to Bermuda in 1929. Housed in a fine carved and gilt modern frame. SIZE: 16" x 12". CONDITION: Very good. 9-96378
