      JOSEF HLINOMAZ (1914-1978) FLOWERS

      Est: -

JOSEF HLINOMAZ (1914-1978) FLOWERS Although known primarily as a comedic actor, Hlinomaz was a man of many talents. He developed his own style of painting, which he called "surneonaivism". He depicted comedic scenes, magical landscapes and still lifes. Flowers do appear in Hlinomaz's work, but not as frequently as some other motifs. The slightly muted tones are also somewhat of a rarity. Oil on canvas, signed and dated rear bottom: Hlinomaz 1960 flowers.
