The studio-shaped annealed glass comes from the important Czech glassmaker Pavel Hlava, whose characteristic features are the elongated punctures in the interior space of the building. The author studied at VŠUP in the studio of professor Karel Štipl. He was one of the first to move glass into the field of art and was involved in the study and development of new glass techniques. He was a permanent member of the jury of international exhibitions of modern glass in Kanazawa, Japan, where the Pavel Hlava Award is also given. The offered glass was purchased in 1977 from the artist's studio.
