    FRENCH COMPOSERS: A very good selection of eight A.L.S., by various French Composers, one or two pages each, most 8vo, with few 12mo and one 4to, comprising GOUNOD CHARLES (1818-1893), dated 29th July 1887; D´INDY VINCENT (1851-1931) dated 3rd August 1930, referring to a choir for two voices which has been published without his approval; MASSENET JULES (1842-1912) two pages, Paris, 12th December 1989; THOMAS AMBROISE (1811-1896) referring to his ill mother he is taking care of; GEVAERT AUGUSTE (1828-1908) Brussels, 31st August 1881, on the Brussels Royal Conservatory printed stationery; CHARPENTIER GUSTAVE (1860-1956) dated 8th February 1900; ADAM ALPHONSE (1803-1856) dated 27th April and D´UDINE JEAN (1870-1938) dated 20th November 1909.
