    Heuvel, G. van den (±1725-1809). (Birds and flowers). Two drawings, pen and ink and grey wash, double black ink framing line, blank margins tinted w. yellow wash, both ±21,5x16 cm., signed "G. V. den(/ D.) Heuvel 1795" and numb. resp. "No. 1" and "No. 2" in pen and brown ink. - Both lvs. vaguely yellowed/ waterstained in left margin (extending ±5 cm. into image); a few tiny foxed specks. = Fine drawings, combining a composition with flowers (and fruits) on an architectonic base with birds (resp. two doves and a parrot seated on a tree branch and two flying doves). AND 1 other drawing by the same, showing a parrot on a branch (pencil, pen and brown ink and grey wash, 24,2x18,8 cm., signed "G.V.D.Heuvel del. ad viv." and "1767" in pen and brown ink. Similar waterstaining).
