        Large pendant lamp, model Bird's Nest. Design 2005/06 for the National Stadium in Beijing, 2008 Olympic Games. Glass fiber reinforced plastic, metal. H. 80, D. 130 cm. These lights were, among others used for the Vitra House and a few smaller projects by Herzog & de Meuron. They were not in serial production and were not available for free sale.

        PoPortfolio comprising 6 offset lithographs light paper after drawings, mounted on coated cardboard Austria, 1998 Herzog & de Meuron – Swiss architectural office, founded by Jaques Herzog (b. 1950) and Pierre de Meuron (b. 1950) Signed ‘H&deM’ and numbered ‘3-/50’ on a separate text sheet in pencil, the offset lithographs each numbered ‘3/50’ in pencil on the support Sheet dimensions: each 29.7 x 42; support: each 50 x 65 In black cardboard portfolio: 67 x 52.5 cm Very good condition The drawings originated in connection with the construction of the Laban Dance Centre in London, which was completed in 2003 Object is regular taxed. 19% VAT is added to the purchase price for deliveries within the EU. Condition: All 6 offset lithographs are in overall very good condition. The cardboard portfolio displays two labels on the cover board as well as slight signs of use. The sheets measure each 29.7 x 42 cm, the supports each 50 x 65 cm. The dimensions of the portfolio are 67 x 52.5 cm. Herzog & de Meuron Jacques Herzog and Pierre de Meuron were both born in 1950 and graduated both in 1975 from their studies in architecture at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich. In 1978 they founded their own architectural practice in Basel which now has offices in London, Madrid, Hamburg, New York and Hong Kong. Their design of the exterior of the Tate Modern in London brought the office international recognition. The Allianz Arena in Munich, the Laban Dance Center, the National Stadium in Beijing for the Olympic Games in 2008 and the Elbe Philharmonic Hall in Hamburg, still under construction, were realized by Herzog & de Meuron.
