Sydney will always be remembered as a prolific and creative spirit. A lifelong student of the arts, Sydney was a master oil and acrylic painter with her floral and landscape compositions enjoyed by everyone. A longtime member and supporter of The Marin Society of Artists, she exhibited her works locally and throughout the country.

She studied art at Oberlin College. Her husband, Fred Herschleb was also an artist.
