    A bronze sculpture by German-American artist Carl Augustus Heber (ca. 1874 - 1956) titled 'Bondage'. This is a bronze miniature copy of a marble original. Heber was a prominent sculptor of his time, completing many important monuments here in our home city of New York including the war memorial at the NY County Courthouse and the relief sculptures on the Manhattan Bridge, as well as many other fine works throughout the United States.
