      Mar. 08, 2023

      Susan Hartnett (American, b. 1940) Nov. 11, 95 #2 (Reeds)

      Est: $1,000 - $1,500

Susan Hartnett (American, b. 1940) Nov. 11, 95 #2 (Reeds) Inscribed bottom left, charcoal on paper. Executed in 1995. (18 x 23 3/4 in. (45.7 x 60.3cm)) Provenance Danese Gallery, New York, New York. Private Collection, Pennsylvania (acquired directly from the above in 1998). Excellent original condition. There is a small pinhole to top right and left corners. There is a small spot of discoloration to top right corner, possibly intrinsic to paper. One or two spots of light soiling, presumably due to handling. Small area of discoloration along bottom edge at right corner- this is unobtrusive to image area. Very slight undulation to paper, probably due to manner in which work is hinged to mount. There is a small water stain, roughly 1 inch in diameter to bottom quadrant, near center – see Specialist photos for details. Please note this work was not examined out of the frame, due to the full sheet and all four corners being visible.
