      Colonel [Benedict] Arnold, from Officers of the War of Independence in America (see Chaloner Smith p. 1714) mezzotint, 1776, on laid paper, trimmed to the image (on three sides), an unobtrusive vertical and horizontal crease through the sheet, tiny losses (one restored) at the left sheet edge (reinforced on the reverse), pale soiling on the reverse, otherwise in generally good condition S. 14 x 91/2 in. (355 x 241 mm.).
