Lynn Harrison Original Sex to Sexty Artwork

        Est: $200 - $400

A fully-finished drawing (in charcoal, ink, white-out and some sort of brown wash) by erotic cartoonist Lynn Harrison (American, b 1933). It was published in Sex to Sexty. It shows a couple in an erotic situation; the caption/gag is "is there anything you bureaucrats don't do in triplicate?" Signed lower left with the early version of the artist's signature. Along with the original pencil sketch for the cartoon. From the collection of Albert J Raman. The finished art was purchased from Sex to Sexty publisher John Newburn, Jr, in 2006. The original pencil sketch was almost certainly purchased from the artist directly, as Mr Raman was a collector of Harrison's work and corresponded with the cartoonist at length. Size: 8.75" X 11.5" (sketch is 8.5 X 11").

        Lynn Harrison Drawing Archive

        Est: $2,000 - $3,000

An archive of drawings and correspondence. The drawings are by erotic cartoonist Lynn Harrison (American, b 1933). This lot consists of a clamshell box containing 120 drawings -some sketches, some finished works- in pencil, ink and felt-tip marker by Harrison, mostly for cartoons published in Sex to Sexty. There are also numerous notes and letters from the artist, most hand-written, some typed and printed. The drawings are all signed, and some have notes by the artist clippe to them. There's also a large file folder which contains print-outs of emails between Harrison and Raman, ebay auctions, and photocopies of works Mr Raman had purchased. Drawings are mostly 8.5" X 11", but some are on slightly smaller sheets. Letters are mostly on legal paper, notes on 3X5 cards.
