      The following 11 lots are by the artist Sylvia Harris, British 1920-2012 Sylvia Harris first studied under the French artist Francis Bott in Paris during the 1950s, later resided for periods of time in New York and Israel. She settled in London and worked for a number of years as a secretary in the Civil Service in Department of Transport and Aviation in London. From the 1980s she devoted much of her time to drawing and painting and was particularly influenced by the artists David Bomberg and Frank Auerbach and the School of London. Further studies were at the Sir John Cass School of Art and Middlesex Polytechnic in London.
