    Memorial to Mrs. Phebe Mason Inscribed In Memory of/Mrs. Phebe Mason who died April 3rd 1810 Aged 64 Years. Death is a [illeg.] As I have paint it so must you In Memory of Mrs. Olive Mason who died July 2, 1825 Aged 23 Years. Adieu dear friends I'm hastening home Jesus bids me come with inscribed headstones in background Watercolor and ink on paper 161/2x17in. (sight) NOTES Mrs. Phebe Harding Mason (1746-1810) was born in Medfield, Massachusetts and was married there to Abner Mason on 24 October 1771. Their son Alpheus Mason, born 1772, married Judith Leland, and they were the parents of Olive Mason, who was born in Medfield and died there 2 July 1824, aged 27 years. Mrs Phebe Mason and her husband died in Medway, Massachusetts.
