One of his best known commissions is for a number of massive sculptures at the Hoover Dam, including the monument of dedication. Hansen stated that for him the dam represented "a monument to collective genius exerting itself in community efforts around a common need or ideal." 5 1/2" H x 15 1/2" dia.
