        William (Bill) Hampton (1925-1977) Third quarter of the 20th century. The work of realism in oil on canvas-covered artist's board is signed by the artist lower right front. Bill Hampton was a WWII veteran and lifelong artist. After leaving Disney, his specialty became portraits like this, although few, if any, possess the strength of this image. It's been nearly 50 years since the artist's passing. Sight size measures 15.5 x 11.75 with a framed size of 23 x 19 inches. Without proof of exemption, be aware that internet sales tax applies to all Internet transactions and local sales tax may apply to local pick-up transactions. The piece is framed in an ornate gold frame with a tan linen lining and a gold fillet. The frame is in very good condition with normal wear.
