Nigel Hall, inspiriert durch Henry Moore und Anthony Caro, gehört zu den englischen Künstlern, die seit den 1970er Jahren den Begriff der „New Sculpture“ oder auch „British Sculpture“ geprägt haben. Halls Skulpturen zitieren ästhetische Beobachtungen, die auf geometrische Körper zurückgeführt werden.
