Condition report is provided as an opinion only and is no guarantee as grading can be subjective. Buyer must view photographs or scans to assist in determining condition and ask further questions if so desired. Our in-house shipping department will gladly pack and ship any item that fits into a 14x14x14 inch or 30x5x24 inch or equivalent or smaller box/folio if it is not fragile or over 25lbs. We will charge for labor to pack and process based on actual time it takes, actual cost of materials used to pack and actual shipper charges that will include insurance and signature required.     Desiree Hajny "Equine Heritage" Original Wood Carving. Made from Butternut wood. Desiree Hajny of York, NE has been involved in the arts for the past forty-one years as a teacher in the public and private sectors. Desiree has been creating wood sculptures of mammals since 1985. Desiree's beautiful and ornate carvings can be found nationally as well as internationally. In art competitions she has garnered twenty-five best-of-show honors, over one hundred fifty first place awards, and eighteen people's choice awards. She continues to teach seminars throughout the United States and Canada. Commissions include Disney Animal Kingdom and the National Forest Products Association. Desiree was a founding member of the Caricature Carvers of America and the first female. In April of 2003 Desiree was the third recipient of the Wood Carving Illustrated Woodcarver of the Year award which is presented annually to national and international carvers. Approx.
