      Property from the Estate of Enrique Arias, Alachua, Florida Description: Carlos Guzman (Cuba, b. 1970), Virgin Mary, Oil on Canvas, 2008, signed and dated '08' lower left, depicting a portrait of the Virgin Mary with crown, cloak and blue robes, with buttons and coins applied to background and clothes, in a giltwood frame. Frame size: 61 in. x 49 1/2 in. Carlos Guzm‡n, graduated from the Paulita Concepci—n Elementary Visual Arts School in 1985, and from the San Alejandro School of Fine Arts in Havana in 1989. He has taught drawing, illustration and costume design at the Superior Institute of Industrial Design and the Superior Institute of Art, both in Havana. Among his most notable solo exhibitions are The Magic of a Magic Instant (Magnetic Art Gallery, Miami, 2013); Changement des tons dans lÕauvre de Guzm‡n (Galer’a Myriane, Paris, France, 2012); Carlos Guzm‡n (Palacio das Artes, Porto, Portugal, 2010), An Instant in Life, dedicated to the 31st International Latin American Cinema Festival (Servando Cabrera Gallery, Havana, 2009); Another Dimension (Amahoro Gallery, Saint-Martin, 2009); and Sailing Your Nights (La Acacia Gallery, Havana, 2007).
