Signed and inscribed with Calligraphy, stamped with red seals. The scroll comes with an original box with two clasps. Jiang Guofang is a Chinese contemporary painter who was born in 1951. He is best known for his mysterious oil portraits of women. Contemporary and Modern Asian and Oriental Hand Painted Wall Scrolls, Wall Art, Home Decor, and Collectibles.

        Serigraph China, 2008 Jiang Guofang (born 1951) - Chinese artist Numbered, titled and signed '198/200, Palace Entrance, Jiang Guo Fang' Embossed mark Dimensions: 106 x 75cm Very good condition Provenance: Private collection, Berlin Jiang Guofang is one of the stars of the Chinese art scene - his large-scale oil paintings achieve up to 1,200,000 Euros at international auctions This serigraph 'Palace Entrance' from 2008 has been made by the Chinese artist Jiang Guofang (born 1951). It shows a young, richly dressed boy standing shyly infront of the huge, elaborately carved palace doors. The corridor behind the doors seems endless, promising forbidden riches and secrets. The serigraph is in very good condition. It is numbered, titled and signed '198/200, Palace Entrance, Jiang Guo Fang'. The dimensions are 106 x 75cm. Jiang Guofang (b. 1951) Jiang was born in Jiang Xi in 1951. In 1974 he entered the Oil Painting Department of the Central Academy of Fine Arts. Throughout the 1980s, Jiang participated in many exhibitions in China and brought his work to a wider audience in the 1990s. In 1993 he has held three exhibitions in Hong Kong. His works have also been shown in in Singapore, in Thailand, Belgium, Taiwan and Berlin. His main subject is the young Chinese emperor and the Forbidden City as a glamorous yet melancholic place.
