            Artist: ARCHIE GUNN (1863-1930) Size: 9 7/8 x 13 in./25 x 33 cm In the 1890s, Theodore Dreiser’s luck had run out in the world of writing; so, in 1895, he enlisted the help of his more-famous songwriting brother, Paul Dresser, to set him up with a new publication aimed at selling Paul’s various tunes to the female public. While Ev’ry Month only lasted 25 issues, it is known as one of the more significant journals published for women at that time, educating them on more than just popular music, but also high-brow literature and culture.
