      A set of Alex Dukelski concept art from The Wonderful World of the Brothers Grimm MGM, 1962. 5 different paintings, gouache and pencil on board, each 5.5 x 15 in., depicting various coat of arms banners, labeled "B / 5761 / 48" / Colonial;" "C / 49" / Black;" "D / 50" / Fools Gold from Throne Room;" "E / 920 / 48" / Red;" and "F / #5761 / 48" / Azure." In addition, "Scale 3/4"=1'0"" is written at the bottom of each piece, and each piece is signed in the lower right-hand corner ("Dukelski"). The Wonderful World of the Brothers Grimm is typical of the colorful films of director George Pal, with much of the movie filmed on location in Germany. It stars Laurence Harvey, Claire Bloom, Walter Slezak, and a host of delightful character actors. The concept art banners can be seen in "The Singing Bone" sequence of the film. Accompanied by a vintage black and white photograph of a scene from the film showing the banners, and an original 16 pp color program for the film. 26.75 x 15 x 0.5 in.
