BRAD GRAY (GERMANY/ SOUTH AFRICA 1971-) THE KISS

      Est: R6,000 - R8,000

Brad Gray (Germany/ South Africa 1971-) The kiss oil on canvas (130 x 130 cm; framed size: 132.5 x 132.5 x 5 cm) Qty: (1) Provenance: Private collection, Cape Town. Notes: Born in Germany, Brad Gray has lived and worked in more than 9 countries across the world. After serving in the marines for a few years, Gray had a successful career as an illustrator in London before he moved to South Africa to establish himself as a full-time artist. He has since earned himself a reputation for his works which feature theatrical and symbolic scenes. Referencing the world around us, often with opposing themes such as light and dark, life and death or peace and violence, he uses fantasy, satire and sometimes humour to emphasize the contradictions of everyday life. The overall condition is very good.
