Signiert, datiert und nummeriert. - An den Ecken und Kanten vereinzelt und leicht angestoßen. Insgesamt sehr gut. Prachtvoller, kraftvoller und farbintensiver Druck der formatfüllenden Darstellung. Colour silkscreen on smooth, light offset cardboard. Signed, dated and numbered. - Sporadically and slightly bumped in corners and edges. Very good overall. Splendid, rich and colour-intense impression of the full-format depiction. - One of 200 copies. - From 1962 onwards, von Graevenitz began to utilise the possibilities of computer graphics and to create series of geometrically ordered grid structures, with a focus on works on paper, especially silkscreens. Gerhard von Graevenitz (1934-1983) The Brandenburg-born artist Gerhard von Graevenitz worked in the different parts of the art scene: He was a painter, sculptor, graphic and installation artist as well as an art teacher, publisher and gallery owner. In the 1950s von Graevenitz studied business science at the Universität Frankfurt am Main at first and later he changed to art at the Akademie der Bildenden Künste in München. At the beginning of the 1960s he was awarded a scholarship and went to Paris, where he came into contact with kinetic art as he met the Groupe de Recherche d'Art Visuel (GRAV). This war an important impulse for his work: Today the artist is known as a representative of kinetic and op art. Von Graevenitz moved to Amsterdam in 1970. Works of the artist were shown in a lot of important national and international exhibitions. (msc) Shipping costs excl. statutory VAT and plus 2,5% (+VAT) shipping insurance.
