The lady is still standing on a stump with the tip of her left foot while he is lifting her up almost entirely to embrace and kiss her goodbye. Thereby she holds her left hand on the top of his hat. Finely executed are the details of horse, clothing and hair of the figures. The bronze is signed on the right of the plinth 'ИБП.ГРАЧЕВЪ' (Grachev) and the foundry is on the left of the plinth 'FABR. C.F. WOERFFEL. ST. PETERSBOURG.'. The sculpture is in very good condition. Parts of the halter and a lance are missing. The dimensions are 24 x 14 x 21 cm. A small peasant child dressed in a nightgown is riding on a horseback and waving with the right hand. The sculpture is mounted on an oval plinth. The base is inscribed in Cyrillic 'Lep. Grachev' and bears the foundry's mark by Fabr. C. F. Woerffel. The base hallmarks contain two errors and one unusual letter which exist on other actual period Grachev bronze pieces cast by Woerffel.
