        A set of 6 Grachev`s teaspoons in its own case. St. Petersburg, last quarter of the 19th century. Cloisonne enamel on sterling silver 88. Master AP. A distinctive feature of Russian Art Nouveau and the aesthetics of the Grachevs is the full-bodied, original shape of the handle, which is square in cross section. What gives her a sense of genuine weight, functional justification and organic decor. The ability to give weight to life to laconic restrained things, to raise them to the revelations of the era - that`s what we appreciate in the products of the Grachevs. The total weight of the spoons is 174 gr.         A RUSSIAN GRACHEV SILVER-GILT CLOISONNE ENAMEL KOVSH

        A miniature gil silver kovsh formed as a scoop with a squared bowl and a protruding handle made by Grachev Brothers factory circa 1890. The exterior is adorned with very fine polychrome cloisonne enamel patterns on filigree. Marked on the bottom with a maker's mark and 88 silver standard next to a female head in a kokoshnik turned to the left. The firm, producing gold and silver items was established in St. Petersburg in 1866 by Gavriil Petrovich Grachev, who had previously worked for Gasse. In 1886 the firm was made the official supplier of the King of Denmark and in 1892, the firm was awarded the title of purveyor of the Imperial Court and was allowed to use the Imperial Warrant (a double-headed eagle) as part of its hallmark. Weight: 1.56 o., 44.4 g.

        Vasily Yakovlevich Grachev (Russian, 1831(?) - 1905), bronze titled "Kiss" with a dark brown patina depicting a scene of the farewell kiss of a mounted Cossack with his beloved. Signed in the Cyrillic on the base and inscribed "Factory of K.F. Werfe, St. Petersburg." Modeled in 1877.

        A Russian gilt silver-mounted cut-glass tea caddy by Grachev Brothers, St. Petersburg, 1908-1917. The square glass body with rounded shoulders, cut with star and geometric patterns, with a silver-mounted cork stopper with ring pull. The cover is decorated with a meander pattern and laurel borders, the top centering a monogram. Marked by Grachev Bros., female head and St. Petersburg anchors.

        A Russian Silver and Champleve Enamel Tea Service, Mark of Grachev St. Petersburg, circa 1890, 88 silver standard, with Cyrillic maker's mark, seven pieces including: teapot (with removable inner collar to suspend tea bag), hot water pot, sugar bowl with cover, creamer, pair of sugar tongs, strainer and oval tray. Each with band of scrolling and geometric design and including stylized animal heads in blues, green, red, white and yellow enamels, each cover featuring a carved mother-of-pearl finial, each with period monogram to one cartouche, all presented in the original fitted velvet lined case. Tray 13 1/8 x 10.25 in. 66.3 total troy oz. The Grachev firm was founded in St. Petersburg in 1866. The recipients of numerous design awards throughout Europe and the United States, the firm was awarded the Imperial Warrant in 1892. Some of their items were retailed by Fabergé. The firm closed in March 1918. By descent through the family of Nadia von Krauskoph de Uthemann, heiress of Trigolnik, and Prince Vladia Dragutin Voukitchevitch. Prince Voukitchevitch was one of the founders of the League of Nations. His original Passeport Diplomatique from 1935 and a copy of Nadja's Passeport Diplomatique from 1938 accompany this lot.
