Nieuwenhuizen Segaar (1930) no.27, with his stamp over the publisher's stamp of CORNELIS DE LORM (De Zonnebloem) on verso. In 1916 the designer Cornelis de Lorm and mrs. Pohl-Rethy opened the gallery "De Zonnebloem" for applied and graphic arts. De Lorm sold i.a. woodcuts by De Graag. In 1929 the gallery was discontinued (DE LORM, Cornelis de Lorm-ontwerper, p.28-29). Nieuwenhuizen Segaar started selling prints in 1929. He bought the remnant stock of prints (i.a. by A.J. de Graag and Charley and Jan Toorop) from De Zonnebloem and stamped his gallery stamp over the old one as can be seen on the prints included in this auction.
