      RAYMUNDO GONZÁLEZ (Guadalajara, Jalisco, 1951 - ) El gallo romántico Firmado y fechado 71 Gouache y acuarela sobre papel Procedencia: Artana Latin American Fine Art, La Haya. Colección del Sr. John Dunkelgrün. Desde niño estuvo en contacto con la rica oferta cultural, artística y arquitectónica de su ciudad natal. No es de extrañar que esta influencia propiciara que González siguiera una vida y carrera en el medio del arte. Estudió en la Academia de Arte de Veracruz y en la Escuela de Arquitectura de la Universidad Autónoma de Morelos. A pesar de que ejerció la arquitectura, nunca dejó de pintar y dibujar. El interés de una galería por su obra hizo que finalmente decidiera dedicarse al arte de tiempo completo. Actualmente vive y trabaja en Cuernavaca, ciudad que se ve reflejada en su obra: una mezcla de las culturas española e india, fiestas, tradiciones, mitos y colores, sin olvidar la energía y vida de lo mexicano. 93.5 x 69 cm
