The viewer's eye wanders over the water of a river and some boats to a tree-lined promenade and some buildings of the village. The artist and creates a lively atmosphere by using a rich color palette and volatile brushstrokes. The canvas of the painting is partially thin, the painting shows extensive crazing. The frame shows signs of age and wear and some chipping. The painting is signed twice lower left with "Hugo Göritz" and "H. R. Göritz". The dimensions are 71 x (framed) 98 cm and 63 x 91 cm (canvas). Hugo Reinhold Göritz (b. 1871) The painter was born on the 21st of October in 1871 in Berlin-Spandau. He studied at the School of Visual Arts and Design in Berlin and as pupil of Peter Paul Müller in Munich. Most of his life Göritz was resident in Berlin-Köpenick, but he also stayed in Cuxhaven on several occasions. Göritz 'works can be seen for example in the Neues Rathaus in Spandau and in the Rathaus in Köpenick. Shipping costs excl. statutory VAT and plus 2,5% (+VAT) shipping insurance.

The observer stands on an embankment with colorful blooming spring flowers, overlooking a meadow with a small house. It has a pointed roof, a little chimney and a small window. Next to it there is a small annex and carefully stacked logs. In the background, hidden by trees, one can see the roofs of some larger buildings. This is a signed work of the landscape painter Hugo Göritz. He was born in 1871 in Spandau and studied at the Berlin School of Art as well as under Peter Paul Müller (1853 - 1930) in Munich. The painting shows some color losses. The canvas has two creases over the entire height. The frame is in good condition with minor traces of age and use. Lower left, the picture is signed with "Hugo Göritz". The dimensions are 62 x 73 cm (framed) and 54 x 65 cm (canvas).

This is a signed work of the landscape painter Hugo Göritz. He was born in 1871 in Spandau and studied at the Berlin School of Art as well as under Peter Paul Müller (1853 - 1930) in Munich. The painting is in good condition and only the cardboard is slightly wavy and a bit soiled. The painting is signed lower right „H. Göritz".Verso is labeled with an etiquette denoted „Hugo Göritz Ölbild, Herbsttag im früheren Wolfsgarten Köpenick-Nordheide"(Hugo Göritz Oil painting, Autumn day in the former Wolfsgarten at Köpenick-Nordheide)". The frame shows traces of age and wear. The dimensions are 54.5 x 44 cm (framed) and 49.5 x 39.5 cm (cardboard).
