          Carl Goebel (1824-1899). ANDREAS HOFER. Ideal portrait of an Austrian National hero Andreas Horef who is standing in front of a chapel with Virgin Mary and child while holding a gun. He was Tyrolian patriot who led the rebellion at the beginning of the 19th century against the Bavarian dominion. He took several times Innsbruck but was finally overpowered in November 1809. Oil on canvas, 57x49 cm, bottom left signed „C. Goebel". Framed. Condition - repaired. Carl Goebel (1824-1899). ANDREAS HOFER. Ideales Porträt des österreichischen Nationalhelden Andreas Hofer, dargestellt mit Büchse vor einer Nische mit Kirche, Madonna und Kind. Hofer war ein tirolischer Patriot, der am Anfang des 19. Jh. den Kampf gegen bayerischer Macht führte. Besiegt wurde er im Herbst 1809. Öl auf Leinwand, 57×49 cm, sign. links unten „C. Goebel". Gerahmt. Zustand: restauriert. Carl Goebel (1824-1899). ANDREAS HOFER. Ideální portrét rakouského národního hrdiny Andrease Hofera, pózujícího s puškou před nikou kostela s Madonou s dítětem. Byl to tyrolský vlastenec, který na začátku 19. století vedl boj za osvobození od bavorské nadvlády, pod kterou se Tyrolsko dostalo ujednáním tzv. prešpurského míru. Několikrát dobyl Innsbruck, nakonec však byl v listopadu 1809 poražen. Olej na plátně, 57×49 cm, sign. vlevo dole „C. Goebel". Rámováno. Stav restaurováno.
