David Glines Sold at Auction Prices

Born in Belmond, Iowa, David Glines was a California artist who distinguished himself in woodcut printmaking. He lived primarily in Los Angeles.

After serving in the U.S Army during the Korean War, he received a master’s degree in art from UCLA in 1958, studying chiefly with noted printmaker John Paul Jones.

Glines’prints are owned by the Smithsonian Institution, the Art Institute of Chicago, the Library of Congress, and various University collections. His works won purchase (showing 500 of 1099 characters).
