    • Giovanni Giuliani, 1663 Venedig – 1744 Heiligenkreuz / Niederösterreich, zug.
      Jun. 27, 2024

Giovanni Giuliani, 1663 Venedig – 1744 Heiligenkreuz / Niederösterreich, zug.

      Est: €7,000 - €8,000

TON BOZZETTO: DREI PUTTEN AUF EINER WOLKENBANK UM EINEN AMBOSS GRUPPIERT Höhe: 35 cm. Rest. (1401473) (11) Giovanni Giuliani, 1663 Venice – 1744 Heiligenkreuz/ Lower Austria, attributed CLAY BOZZETTO: THREE PUTTI GROUPED AROUND AN ANVIL ON A BANK OF CLOUDS Height: 35 cm. Old ink inscription with monogram and date “J.B.P/1779” on base. Very good condition, only one index finger missing. Restored. The monogram may indicate the French sculptor Pigalle (1714-1785, Paris), whose works however seem to be more tranquil in the classical sense. In good condition, only one index finger missing. Restored.
