    4to. - First edition of the first work of the Argentine avant-garde poet Girondo (1891-1967). In 1920 and 1921, he travelled in Spain, Italy, France, North Africa and Brazil. His experience of these countries are reflected in these poems, full of colour and irony, exaltation of cosmopolitanism and modern urban life while criticising the customs. Illustrated by him with 10 in-text in colour, of which 4 full-pages. Issued to 850 numb. copies on "Velin puro hilo Lafuma", incl. 150 not for sale (n. 622).

This movement was launched in Spain in 1918 and was guided by figures like Borges. Among his notable contemporaries and friends were Pablo Neruda and Federico García Lorca.
