Kennedy in 1960 during the presidential election before he won in November against Richard Nixon Object is regular taxed. Differential taxation is not possible. The silver bromide gelatin print on barite paper titled with ‘Mit Kennedy unterwegs’ (German for ‘On the Road with Kenned’) and was made by the German reportage photographer and journalist Rolf Gillhausen in 1960. This photograph, printed around 1995, shows John F. Kennedy in 1960 during his presidential election campaign, sitting on the back seat of a moving convertible. In front of him is a car with photographers, who are capturing the scene. Kennedy won against Richard Nixon in November that year. The photograph is in a very good condition with hardly any signs of usage. It has been titled, dated and signed in pencil on the reserve side with ‘Mit Kennedy unterwegs, 1960, Rolf Gillhausen’. The sheet size of the photograph is 38.5 x 48.6 cm. It is mounted under passe-partout with photo corners and has the total dimensions of 49.5 x 60 cm. Rolf Gillhausen (1922-2004) Rolf Gillhausen was a trained mechanical engineer, who turned to photography after the war and was particularly well-known for his spectacular photo reportages. At the Stern magazine Gillhausen worked as a photojournalist and later as deputy chief editor. In 1976 he founded the GEO science magazine and from 1980 to 1984 he worked as chief editor of the Stern magazine. Shipping costs excl. statutory VAT and plus 2,5% (+VAT) shipping insurance.
