        Gilbert (Anthony) The Tragedy at Freyne, first edition, minor scattered spotting, original cloth, light rubbing to tips of spine and corners, early issue dust-jacket priced at 3/6, spine ends and corners chipped, small portion of loss to head of lower panel, upper panel with short tears and creasing to head and foot, still a very good example, 8vo, 1927. ⁂ A rare early title by Gilbert (pseudonym of Lucy Beatrice Malleson), her first book and the first in her Scott Egerton crime series.
