    Archimedes Aristedes Michael Giacomantonio (American, 1905-1988) Bust of Vincenzo Gemito patinated bronze sculpture signed "M. Giacomantonio" 16 3/4 x 14 1/4 x 11 inches Archimedes Giacomantonio was a pupil of Onorio Ruotolo for two years. Ruotolo was the creator of the Leonardo Da Vinci School. Giacomantonio then studied at the Royal Academy in Rome and 6 months later met Gemito, who invited him to be his pupil. Included in the photos is a personal letter to the present owner from Giacomantonio.
