The Road from Carlisle Com. Cumbr. To Barwick upon Tweed Com. Northum Scotland and England Thomas Gardner 1719 A

      Est: - $130

Uncommon and attractive map from Gardner's scarce guide. The map is very similar to Ogilby's road maps in style and decoration, but on a reduced scale. Beginning at Carlisle in Scotland, the road winds its way through villages, woods, hills, and parks to Barwick in Northumberland. Very decorative chart with scroll-like panels and seven compass roses.
