Conservazione: ottima, , Disegnato dall’artista danese Fanny Susanne Garde (1855-1928) per la manifattura Bing & Grondahl il servizio “Gabbiano” é uno dei più conosciuti e famosi. Prodotto a partire dal 1892 rimane in voga per più di 100 anni. A large glazed cylindrical baluster form reticulated body with exemplary pate sur pate floral and foliate forms rising from landscape form at bottom to bulbous scalloped rim. Having B&G MADE IN DENMARK backstamps to underside with artist signature F GARDE. Dimensions: 14.25 X 6.5 X 6.5 in. Condition: Good overall condition with average surface wear.       Fanny Garde (1855-1928) Circa 1915. The fine and rare work of unique design by Fanny Garde for Bing & Grondahl incorporates Jugendstil influence decoration in high relief against contrasting motifs and an interior glaze of metallic appearance. The underside of the base displays underglaze marks in blue for the artist and the manufacturer. Ms. Garde began her career as a designer with Bing & Grondahl in 1886 and as one of the pioneering female porcelain decorators, she is credited with award-winning success in underglaze painting and design. Many of her creative output was mass produced while other, more Avant Garde, designs like this were of very limited production and some are regarded as unique. Measures 5.5 x 8 inches.
