          DESCRIPTION: Dale Gallon (American, 20th Century). Pickett's Grand Assault. 1986. Print of an original painting on white wove paper. Signed, lower right and numbered 44/950, lower left. Titled on a brass plaque attached to frame, lower center. With a Certificate of Authenticity from the American Print Gallery in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. In a yellow green mat with a gold leaf frame and glazed. Born in southern California, Gallon graduated from the Art Center College of Design in Los Angeles and later moved to Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. He is best known for his historically accurate Civil War related images. MEASUREMENTS: Image size 10-1/2" x 27". Overall with frame 20-3/4" x 36-1/2". CONDITION: No defects noted.
