    Jane (Brigham) Gage (1914 - 1978) Watercolor on Paper, Signed, Measures ( x inches ) w/frame ( x inches ) The Naples Art Association has named Jane Gage Brigham of Naples “Artist of the Month.” Her work, which currently is on display at the Association’s 4th Avenue South address, will be moved to the First National Bank on Tuesday, Jan.29 Mrs. Brigham was born and spent most of her life, prior to moving to Florida, in LaGrange, Ill She majored in art at Rockford College for two years before moving on to study at the Chicago Art Institute for two years. Five years were spent at Wellfleet on Cape Cod where she studied with George Elmer Brown and Henry Hensche. On the Cape she was represented in the Don Witherstine Gallery in Provincetown.
