    This is the second of a pair of etchings by Frisius showing after a drawing by Goltzius in Goltzius genius style also used in his Chiaroscuro prints, with curved swelling lines as if the undulating landscape is in motions. A highlight in landscape art. Subject: Mountainous coastal landscape with a dwelling in foreground, a fortification beyond; second state with plate number above margin. This etching was made by Simon Frisius (1580-1628) in 1608.
