    Member and secretary of the first provincial congress (1743-1831), document 9 inches x 8 inches, good condition. This bench warrant from Cumberland County Massachusetts (now Maine) is signed by Freeman, for the arrest of Richard Grant of Freeport, for a debt of $100. Dated Portland, May 27, 1805. Also signed by John Reed, deputy sheriff of Cumberland County. Also of note is Stephen Longfellow, father of Henry Wadsworth Longfellow, is referenced as a witness.
