Sale. Christie’s, Property of A Gentleman, 30 November 1983, lots 170 and 191 Collection of John and Eileen Harris *** The collection of designs by Freeman form part of a group of drawings of which the remaining part was bequeathed to the RIBA by Sir Howard Colvin (British architectural historian, 1919-2007), in 2008.  It is recorded that following the death of Colonel William Freeman, who was the owner of Fawley Court, Buckinghamshire, the estate passed to John Cooke Freeman who was his nephew.
